The National Eisteddfod is coming to Ebbw Vale this summer. For more information, visit the Eisteddfod homepage.

During the week of the Eisteddfod - Saturday 31^st July to Saturday 7^th August 2010 the Scrum Bar has been booked to host various entertainments in Welsh and a fee is payable on entry to Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg (The Welsh Language Society). This means that our normal Saturday night entertainment of an Artist and Disco in the Scrum Bar are postponed. However, our Legends Bar on the 1^st floor will be open for drinks and background music for those seeking a relaxing time and there will be no entry charge. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. We hope that you will join us when normal service is resumed.

Saturday 31/7 – Parti lawnsiad / Launch party (3 bands + DJ)
Sunday 1/8 - Cwis cerddoriaeth gyda DJs / music quiz with DJs
Monday 2/8 - 'Geiriau gwrthdystiad' / ‘Protest lyrics’
Dafydd Iwan + 3 band ( + 2 wrthdystiwr yn siarad am eu profiadau yn y carchar /+ 2 protestors talking about their jail experiences)  
Tues 3/8 -  Noson digrifwyr / stand-up comedians' night  
Wednesday 4/8 –  Cyfluniadau a cherddoriaeth / Images and music   
Thursday  5/8 -  Mewn carchar am yr Iaith! / Jailed for the language! Folk and rap artists mixing it + DJs  
Friday  6/8 - Meic Stevens  + 3 band
